Following rave reviews in Manchester, the producers of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG are delighted to announce that KEVIN KENNEDY will continue in the acclaimed musical when it flies into Birmingham this summer.

KEVIN KENNEDY’S portrayal of Curley Watts in Coronation Street made him one of the best-loved soap characters of all time. Now audiences have the chance to see him in a very different role as the evil Child Catcher in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.

KEVIN KENNEDY will star alongside BRIAN CONLEY and GARY WILMOT who share the role of Caractacus Potts.

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG is a firm favourite for all the family. It tells the story of Caractacus Potts, his two children Jemima and Jeremy alongside Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts who all try and outwit the dastardly Baron and the evil Child Catcher. Full of great songs it features the memorable Truly Scrumptious, Toot Sweets, Hushabye Mountain and the Oscar-nominated title song Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG is one of the largest musicals to be staged at Birmingham Hippodrome. An action-packed adventure story, it boasts a a talented cast of singers and dancers, (including ten dogs!) sensational sets and stunning special effects.

Extra dates have now been added to the run due to demand for tickets, therefore CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG now opens on 23 June and runs until 2 September 2006.
Tickets are priced from £15.50-£42.50. Concessions available.
