  • Are all limos the same? No. There are over 130 different companies in the USA that convert cars into limos and all of them are different. Some are very basic, some have every conceivable extra imaginable, some have bars made of wood, some metal, some glass, in fact, the only way to be assured of the quality of the limo that you are booking is to view it beforhand or to have photos emailed to you.

I've been ringing around and had several different prices True. If you ring around you will be quoted different prices but price should not be the only thing on your mind when making your decision. Ask the age of the limo, is it insured, are the chauffeurs trained by your company, are there seatbelts, is it QVM endorsed (Quality Vehicle Manufacturer). Quiet often people call us and say, "I'm taking my wife to The Ritz for dinner to celibrate our 25 wedding annerversary and I'm ringing around to find the cheapest limo to take us there". The decision to take her to The Ritz was made because The Ritz is renouned for it's quality and so should the desision on choice of limousine. The last thing you want on a special evening out is to end up with a car that you are embarrased to get out of.

Are you a franchise? No. We own, service, vallet and look after our own limousines and run our own bussiness. The cars on this site are the ones you can hire.

Are your limos the new 'rounder' ones? Yes. As from the 3rd of January 2004, all of our limousines are 'Millennium Models'

Can we smoke in the limos? No but we can stop for cigarette breaks on long journeys. While our main objective is to ensure that your time spent with DP Limousines is most enjoyable, we also need to ensure that our next clients time spent with us is not compreimised.

Can we stop for kebabs after the nightclub? In short, No. Hot food is not permitted in our limos. We may have a Wedding the following day and the bride will not want to smell of  Eau De 'Chilli Sauce'

How many people are allowed in a limo? The maximum amount of passengers allowed in any limo in the UK is 8. DO NOT hire from a limousine company that breaks the law. If the police pull you over you will be made to walk, you will not be insured and a company that has such little regard for the law and your safety will have the same disregard for service and quality.

Can we bring our own drinks? Yes but please let us know when booking. Red wine and any other drinks that could cause damage to the interiors of our limousines are prohibited.

Are we able to call the chauffeur if we want to return early? Yes, all our chauffeurs carry mobile phones but we can't always accomodate changes on busy days as the limo may be on another job.

Can we bring our own CDs and DVDs? Yes but make sure that you take them with you after the hire?

What happens if our limousine breaks down and all of your limousines are being hired elswhere? Our limos are maintained to the highest standards with monthly services and oil and filter changes at 2500 mile intervals however, they are made of nuts and bolts and although very rare, things can go wrong. We work with a group of other limo companies and will do all we can to cover your onward journey with a replacement limousine. If we can't find a replacement, we will give you a full refund of money paid to us. Please note that our terms of contract state that we are not lible for any additional costs or losses arrising from breakdown.
